Group Practice Administrator

Overview

The Director of Operations has full Profit & Loss responsibility for Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers – a division of Axia Women’s Health, comprised of multiple patient care centers. Provides strategic leadership and drives revenue growth of the care centers, working with Business Development and Physician leaders to pursue acquisition opportunities.  The Director works in collaboration with Physician leadership (who makes all clinical decisions) and Axia Women’s Health Management support departments to help the care centers deliver excellent care efficiently while creating a great work environment for the team. Position requires a high degree of leadership skills, independence, initiative, judgment, multi-site profit and loss management, and follow-through on a wide range of sensitive and complex issues.

  • Serves as the content expert for financial and productivity related metrics for a predetermined set of regional based care centers within Seven Hills Women’s Health Centers
  • Demonstrates ability to assess, analyze, develop and execute strategically and financially feasible care center strategies that will expand efficiency and enhance care centers’ abilities to provide exceptional experiences to Axia patients
  • Oversees designated care centers and is held accountable for the following duties which include, but are not limited to:
    • Ensures fiscal responsibility including monitoring staffing budget, operations budget and capital budget as established
    • Understands the drivers of tends within individual care centers’ profit and loss statements and creates actionable plans to help care centers achieve operational and revenue goals
    • Interprets, understands and manages, and owns KPI’s and metrics for assigned care centers and shares suggested paths for maintaining (or achieving) the metrics
    • Identifies downward trends and creates actionable plans to course correct these trends
    • Upholds expense management expectations by driving utilization and compliance with group purchasing programs
    • Responsible for early recognition of staffing, capital expense, and infrastructure needs throughout the care centers; reviews all capital expense requests made by care centers; recommends approval or denial of requests to Senior Executives.
    • Promotes and develops effective and efficient communication strategies for care centers to promote a positive work environment and an optimal operational workflow.
  • Heavy involvement in add on practice acquisition process
  • Takes ownership of organization-wide projects as determined by Senior Executives

Qualifications

  • Expertise in managing and interpreting P&L statements
  • Strong analytics capabilities; determination and drive to independently assess data and draw conclusions
  • Strong communications skills; demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with personnel across various facilities for which this position supports as well as external entities
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite, especially Excel
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Masters (MHA or MBA) a plus
  • Prior business management consulting experience a plus

Hours

Full time - Monday-Friday; 40 hours per week
